Mr. Kanubhai was born on September 17, 1930; on waning 9th day of the month of Bhadarva as per Moon Calendar. He was son of Dada Bhagavan’s business partner Mr. Kantibhai. He grew up in Dada’s laps. He finished his Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. On his completion, one of their family friends, Mr. Nandubhai Patel, who was in PWD [Public Works Department], persuaded Dada to employ Kanubhai in his organization so that he could have a good future! Dada told him, “Kanubhai is a straightforward person, anytime he could get into trouble. Instead, we would take him in our own construction business.” And that was how Mr. Kanubhai joined the family business of construction with Dada. As regards to Self-realization, his own turn came in March 1963 in Mumbai. The whole family was in Mumbai and a very sensitive and tricky situation arose between the father and the son. Kanubhai was trying to explain something but there was some misunderstanding and the situation blew up. When Dada learnt about this, He came rushing to them along with Mr. Rasikbhai [Kanubhai’s brother, who had already got the “Divine Vision” from Dada] and said, “What have you made of your life?! It isn’t for such differences and conflicts.” Dada took this opportunity and told Rasikbhai, “Come on! Let us show Kanubhai the “Vision of God.” He took him upstairs to His place of worship and first made him bow at the Lotus feet of Srimad Rajchandraji, on the photograph. Dada handled the situation very tactfully. Normally, one bow and surrenders to a Living Gyani. But here, Dada knew that if the case is not handled properly in the beginning, everything would go wrong. And then He blessed him with the ‘Divine Vision.’ He was 33 then. Kanubhai slept peacefully all that night and got up with a totally new Vision! For him the world had changed forever. He experienced the Bliss! He decided take the morning breakfast for Dada himself. Even Dada was surprised but He never reacted. After keeping the tray on the table Kanubhai sat at Dada’s feet. Dada asked him, “Why? What happened today?” For him until yesterday, Dada was a respectable elder, simply an uncle but today He was the Manifested Living God so, with great humility and profound devotion Kanubhai responded, “Dada, shall I tell you the truth? Until yesterday, I was living life like a fish taken out of water! But, You put me back in the water!” For Kanubhai the flower had blossomed never to wilt!!!

He understood and observed VITRAG DADA BHAGAVAN as the living example of VITRAG VIGNAN in all the facets of His life, as a very respected elder of the family, as an ideal householder, as a successful businessman and then as a fully Enlightened Soul, Gyani Purush! His physical association with Dada was very close until 1978 when Dada fractured His leg and, he had to leave Dada’s close vicinity to fulfill the commitments of the ongoing running business. After 1978, he visited Dada intermittently. But as the saying goes, “Nearness increases understanding and devotion but separation sharpens understanding & devotion!” It is due to his deep-rooted understanding of VITRAG VIGNAN and his sincere unending efforts through an unconditional surrender to VITRAG DADA BHAGAVAN that Mr. Kanubhai quickly climbed the ladder of spirituality and reached extraordinary heights of inner experienced state of “Pure Soul.” Dada Bhagavan left His mortal body on Jan 2, 1988. Shree Ambalal Muljibhai Patel, who had no other desire except to seek the ultimate truth, was blessed with Self-realization (Enlightenment) in July 1958. And for all those aspirants who met Him and were willing to ponder over the eternal question of “Who am I?” He had started imparting the Knowledge of Self-Realization by a process called “Gyan Vidhi.”

His sayings, known as VITRAG VIGNAN through the step-less method of “Akram Vignan,” included non-stop discourses in the form of Questions & Answers relating to discussion on ‘Who we really are?’

Ways to complete liberation, precise solution to the perennial problems of our day-to-day life at home, business, and so on. In His entire life, He had a singular aim of:

“Let each and every being in the whole universe acquires the Peace and Bliss that I have experienced.”

The Fully Enlightened Pure Soul, within Shree Ambalal Muljibhai Patel, is called “DADA BHAGAVAN!” Shree Ambalal Muljibhai Patel left this physical world on 2nd Jan 1988. “DADA BHAGAVAN!” is within all of us, as Absolute Divine Knowledge and Bliss… That being Our True State!

Presently, Gyani Purush Your Holiness Param Pujya Shree Kanudadaji, "Pure Love Personified" travels all around the world spreading Vitrag Dada Bhagavan's message. He is the spiritual beacon of light and torchbearer of Jai Sachchidanand Sangh. He has been performing “Gyan Vidhi,” Initiating aspirants towards Self-Liberation. In March 1999, He was in Nigeria as part of his global tours and had the opportunity to speak to SEVA magazine in Nigeria on a wide range of issues. The summary of the interview is as given below:

Seva Magazine Q.1: What is the “Jai Sachchidanand Sangh” all about?
A.1: “Jai Sachchidanand Sangh” is a Spiritual organization started with the auspicious blessings of Vitrag Dada Bhagavan. Jai Sachchidanand Sangh is not a new religion nor a cult nor a system, but a universal message to humanity based on “Faultless understanding” in general and scientific solutions to day-to-day problems in particular. The message represents a ‘Unification of the non-partisan Visions’ of all religions.

A.2: Jai Sachchidanand Sangh has been functioning as a non-profit organization since 1973 with headquarters at MUMBAI. The present address is:

Seva Magazine Q.3: What are the basic teachings of Jai Sachchidanand Sangh?
A.3: In addition to imparting the Ultimate Knowledge for Self-Realization to each aspirant, Dada Bhagavan revealed Nine Principles for happy and blissful living. These nine principles also referred to as, “Nine Priceless Diamonds” and “Prayer to the Pure Soul (Dada Bhagavan)” are the universal prayers for an aspirant seeking leading to permanent happiness. These prayers are non-partisan in nature, developed at the sub-microscopic level and are beyond the constraints of opinions and thoughts, let alone the curtains of caste, creed, religion or nationality. These prayers reflect the fundamental laws of nature with a perfect balance, to guide humanity. The understanding of all the laws of nature as applied to day-to-day living is revealed by way of aphorisms.

Seva Magazine Q.4: Is it mandatory for members to follow vegetarian way of life?
A.4: The vegetarian way of life is essential for spiritual development and peaceful existence of humankind. The vegetarian way is a non-violent way. The vicious cycle of violence must be thoroughly understood in order to appreciate the vegetarian way of life, and to reach a stable state of physical well being. It leads to mental and spiritual stability: ‘a necessary ingredient to uplift a human soul.’ This principle of non-violence (Ahimsa) is the basement for the rudimentary yet real progress towards the path of liberation.

Seva Magazine Q.5: How do you define “Seva”?
A.5: “Seva” is defined as imparting the “Ultimate Knowledge” to an aspirant of total liberation (Moksha). Offering to others what you are seeking for your self (permanent happiness) is also called Seva. In a relative way, one of the processes of Seva is by spreading Vitrag Dada Bhagavan's teachings and guidance through publication and distribution of spiritual books, audio/video of discourses, etc. Dada’s books deal with solutions to daily entangles and uplifting of a person's inner belief towards the Ultimate Bliss. A direct result is the improvements in ones personal life and his/her behavior with friends and family members. Shree Dada Bhagavan said that the “Real” knowledge must always ­be free of cost. He advised the Sangh to tag the books with the price of:
“Ultimate Humility and I know nothing”

Seva Magazine Q.6: Is the organization involved in any humanitarian programs? If yes, what are some of the programs in Nigeria and other parts of the world?
A.6: Jai Sachchidanand Sangh is involved in spreading the Knowledge of “faultless understanding,” knowing the attributes of "doer-ship,” and performing your duties on the foundation of "non-doer-ship." As things happen, the affording members are involved in a variety of humanitarian programs, in all parts of the world including Nigeria and other African countries.

Seva Magazine Q.7: As you travel around the world what message do you give to the people?
A. 7: The message of Jai Sachchidanand Sangh is to know your “Pure Soul.” In other words, it is a message of universal love and oneness through the Knowledge of basic laws of nature governing one’s life. It includes, among other things, the understanding of ones right belief and acceptance of the “Cause and Effect” theory as a part and parcel of the grand natural force and, peaceful coexistence intertwine with pure love.

Seva Magazine Q.8: In recent years we have witnessed many leaders visiting us and giving us their blessings, even then we are witnessing too much of social unrest, moral decay in the society. Then one wonders whether humanity/society is truly progressing spiritually?
A.8: Vitrag Dada Bhagavan has said: “The world is the puzzle itself. There are two view points to solve this puzzle; 1-Relative and 2-Real.” The world will always witness various levels of the social unrest etc. in the relative sense. Yet, the “Real” spiritual development of society depends on the development of an individual! This is achievable only through set-up of the right belief and through the Knowledge of how the enlightened ones solved the puzzle of the world. As a good beginning, the reconstruction of an individual personality of a human being is achieved through the 'Nine Diamonds' and prayers as declared in A.3 above. These prayers shall lead to the goal of higher strata of peaceful living. This is our main message to this relative world.
